Another winter with women insisting in wearing galoshes, aka wellies, to look trendy. I find them not appealing at all, especially when worn on a sunny day
What do you think? Are they fabulous footwear or a fashion eyesore?

As in my comments regarding Finland. Bright colored Wellingtons are alive an well in Helsinki
I find them very useful when attending the garden or walking the dogs in the park or when there is a flood so I can put the feet in the water without worrying too much about getting my feet wet or the shoes ruined.
I find the idea of them being fashionable items ridiculous. But then again they are extremely useful and they do look better than the old style ones.
However, paying for them anything above 40-50 euros is totally uncomprehensible. Some cost around 150 euros even higher because they carry a designer logo. However, this would beat the point as I would then be too cautious about my D&G wellies being put in the mud...See my point?
Total agreement Zeta!
